Stayed here with friends for 4 nights. We were almost charged extra for checking in early, good thing I read the Agoda itinerary stating early check-in can be requested if available. The hotel is close to the center and Tiongson Arcade so it's easy to access everything. Staff are accommodating and adhere to our requests including new towels and toiletries. Breakfast is part of the package so it's good. The aircon unit vibrates loudly so this is a downside feature of the room. The room, though good for two guests, is not that spacious and may not be conducive for work, and the hotel does nor have extension cord to compensate for only one socket inside.
I got a room soon as I walked in the mold smell hit me.. 15 min I started coughing. I turned on the AC that made it worse. I opened the cover on the AC and the filter hasn't been changed so it is blowing mold in your face.. no towels in room. Bathroom mirror is deteriorating, bathroom not clean and there was a little lizard 🦎 on the wall that seems to live there.. I I formed the host I wasn't happy with the room could she try another . She I formed me all she had was a family room and I would have to pay more. No one came to deal with any of my issues .. I sat out side and held the door open to air the room out.. then the power went out twice . Luckily they had a generator. I managed one night and got up and out of there.. and no way in hell was I going to eat their "free breakfast".. not a chance.. maybe they were nice years ago.. but it is s+hole.
It does not look like a hotel. It’s more like a drive in or motel. They dont even accept credit cards.
the rooms are mouldy and emits a mouldy smell too. The staff can't even be bothered and since the room phone wasnt working, you need to go out to the reception area to ask for a change of towels.
Rooms are spacious, and clean, . ACs works well. The staff are approachable. Location is great, just near Tiongson Arcade (lots of grilling restaurants - a must visit. Just don't fall for the overpriced fruit sellers in the streets.)
